Returns & Refunds
At Dawsons, we're dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction. The following Returns and Refunds policy outlines your legal rights and our procedure should you change your mind after your purchase. It applies to purchases made via our website and in-store, subject to some Exceptions. This differs from the Warranty Policy, which sets out your rights if your product is faulty or not as described If you are unhappy with your purchase or change your mind, we offer returns and a full refund. This is in addition to your legal rights in the event of issues or defects, which are set out in our Warranty Policy.
To initiate a return, please either complete this form or write to us at support@dawsons.co.uk within 14 days of the day your product is delivered, providing proof of purchase for the item you'd like to return. You do not need to give a reason for the return.
We will provide return instructions. You then have a further 16 days (30 days from receipt of the item) to return the item.
All items must be well packaged and returned in their original packaging. They should be in 'as new' condition, meaning they haven't been handled beyond what would be expected in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics, and function. We may make a deduction from your refund if the value of the returned item is diminished from excessive use or handling, if the packaging is damaged or the product is not in its original, branded packaging.
A refund will be issued once we have received your return.
We recommend that you return your product using the courier details we provide. If you choose another method to return your product, you should keep a receipt or other evidence from the delivery service that proves you have sent it, and when you sent it. If you don’t do this, and we don’t receive the goods within a reasonable time, we may not refund you.
We will refund any standard delivery costs that you have paid. We won’t refund any extra you have paid for enhanced delivery (such as express delivery or delivery at a particular time). Please note that you will need to cover any costs associated with returning the product to us.
Exclusions:
This returns policy does not apply to:
- Used products bought in a Dawsons store
- Magazines
- Software downloads, where you have downloaded the software prior to the 14 day cancellation period
- Some built-to-order products. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about returning your product.
